A. Background HP Web JetAdmin provides the ability to install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot TCP/IP and IPX connected devices on an enterprise's intranet. It contains support for all HP JetDirect-connected printers and plotters. This product allows users to manage HP JetDirect-connected printers using just a browser. This issue here has the potential of a denial of service (DoS) on networked peripherals for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000. The software supports Windows NT 4.0 (Server or Workstation) and Windows 2000 (Server or Professional) platforms. B. Fixing the problem Obtain and install the latest release of Web JetAdmin 6.0, which is version 6.0.1233 from the following location: http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hpwebjetad1880_swen.html Internal HP SB REVIEW NOTE: Their release date must be 21 June 2000 or later.
