PLATFORM: HP9000 Series 700/800 running HP-UX releases 10.10, 10.20 and 11.00, plus Solaris 2.5 and 2.6. DAMAGE: ecsd allows unauthorized access privilege for users. SOLUTION: ecsd authorization is tuned to prevent unauthorized access. Install the appropriate patch for HP-UX releases as described below.
